China insisted that the United States Secretary of State Pompeo filed an order to dispose of the initial sample of Corona19 virus in question, in compliance with regulations for biosecurity.

At the press conference held yesterday (15th), China's Sanitary and Health Committee, Science Education Bureau, Ryu Deng-Fung countered that Pompeio's allegation occurred and Corona 19 was formed and organized a state-level specialized organization to enter into the pathological appraisal work.

Ryu Deng-feng explained that the Corona 19 virus was considered as causing pneumonia of unknown cause and was managed as 'second-class high pathogenicity'.

Class 2 hyperpathogenicity corresponds to pathogens at the same level as severe acute respiratory syndrome or smallpox.

Ryu Dengfeng said the reason for discarding the initial sample was to comply with the regulations that if the laboratory does not meet the biosafety sample preservation conditions, it should be disposed of immediately or transferred to a specialized preservation agency.

Hong Kong Media South China Morning Post (SCMP) said in response to Ryu Dengfeng's comments, "China has confirmed that it has ordered disapproval laboratories to discard early samples of the virus."
