On the weekend of August 14-16, athletics championships will be in Uppsala. It was 20 years ago last.
- Provided that the recommendations of the public health authority and the general situation allow us to implement it, we plan for it, says Anders Kindmark, chairman of the organizer club Upsala IF.
The competitions are meant to be arranged at the new outdoor arena for athletics at Gränby sports field. In normal cases, UIF had counted around 10,000 visitors during the two competition days. Now it remains to be seen if there will be any audience at all.
