The family said in a statement, a copy of which reached Al-Jazeera Net, that the demand for extradition carries a great risk that the law will be used to achieve political interests, in exchange for continuing to provide financial aid to countries, and it is also a political pressure card to force countries to accept.

She stressed "her confidence and belief that Jordan will not be subject to blackmail or coercion policies, and that the dignity of its citizens is not bargaining, because the kingdom rejects it as king, government and people categorically, in line with its consistent national position to protect its sovereignty and safeguard the dignity of its citizens and persist in its political and legal positions that cannot be touched or diminished from What country? "

The family concluded its statement by saying, "The response to the message of the Republican representatives will not move away from one iota from the kingdom's national constant, despite all the efforts exerting pressure on it. Money will not be accepted to politicize it to waste the dignity of the nation's citizens."

A Jordanian response
A source in the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed, in a special statement to Al Jazeera Net, about Jordan's position regarding the Jordanian issue of Ahlam, saying that Jordan is committed to the legal and judicial decision issued by the Court of Cassation.

In 2017, the Jordanian Court of Cassation, the highest judicial authority, issued a decision requiring that al-Tamimi not be extradited to the United States of America, and the court approved the Amman Court of Appeal's decision not to surrender the accused of using weapons of mass destruction against an American citizen to the American authorities.

In 1995, Jordan and the United States signed a treaty between them to extradite fleeing criminals, and the National Assembly did not ratify it to complete its constitutional phases. Thus, the agreement is considered neither enforceable nor obligatory to implement.

MPs, members of the Jordanian House of Representatives rejected the American threats, the most prominent of which was the position of the Reform Bloc of the Islamic Action Front, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, as the bloc's spokesman, MP Mustafa Al-Assaf, confirmed the step of the members of the American Congress to send a letter to the Jordanian embassy, ​​which he considers It violated Jordanian national sovereignty and did not respect the dignity of Jordanians.

Representative Al-Assaf adds that Jordan is not subject to blackmail or coercion policies, and the dignity of its children is not subject to bargaining, especially in light of the existence of a judicial decision rejecting the extradition of Jordanian citizenship, asking the government to issue a clear, frank and decisive response on this matter, and to confirm the position of the Jordanian judiciary.

Whereas, the decision of the Parliamentary Foreign Committee, Representative Qais Ziyadin, to Al Jazeera Net, expressed the rejection of repeated threats, due to the existence of a judicial decision to resolve the issue, and that the case is raised for American internal consumption, according to his opinion.
