May 14, 2020 Covid-19's overall toll has exceeded 300,000 victims across the planet, with nearly four and a half million people infected. This is what emerges from the data collected by Johns Hopkins University, according to which 300,074 people died as a result of the epidemic. Johns Hopkins said she recorded 4,405,688 infections worldwide. 

In the US, the virus runs more
than 1,800 deaths in a single day in the United States, where at least 1,398,393 cases of Covid-19 and 84,575 deaths have been recorded, according to the data aggregator of Johns Hopkins University. The total includes cases from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories, as well as cases involving repatriated citizens. The hardest hit state, with at least 340,661 cases and 27,477 deaths, is New York. Then New Jersey, with at least 141,560 cases and 9,714 deaths. The city most affected is New York, with 187,250 confirmed cases and at least 20,316 deaths.
