He explained that the police statistics and reports during the past period showed that negligence on the part of public and private institutions, project owners or those in charge of them, and not taking preventive measures, directly contribute to the occurrence of many theft crimes, and the perpetrators were able to implement their plans easily, noting that it was dealt with The majority of them, arrest the perpetrators and refer them to the competent authorities and the judiciary for trial.
Al Shamsi pointed to the low percentage of crimes, especially theft since the beginning of the application of restricting traffic and the national sterilization period, and at the same time the high rate of crime detection compared to previous years, due to the spread of 140 different security patrols that roam during the sterilization period in different regions, and 65 security patrols are present Around the clock between neighborhoods and industrial and commercial areas, to control the public street, ensure safety, spread reassurance and reduce crime rates.
