After two years of struggle, this sad news arrived this Wednesday: Álex Lequio died, at the age of 27, from the cancer that was diagnosed in early 2018.
Her mother, Ana Obregón, has remained by her side throughout this process. She traveled with him to New York, where she spent six months receiving treatment, and settled in Barcelona a few weeks ago, when the young man was admitted to a center in Barcelona to receive new medication and where, tragically, he died.
