“The issue of reducing the number of subjects of the unified state exam (USE) to two was not considered by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science,” TASS reports.

Also, the ministry does not exclude the possibility of conducting an exam in a remote format for people with limited mobility.

The Ministry of Education and Science clarified that the decision on the formats and timing of the Unified State Examination is made by Rosobrnadzor in coordination with the Ministry of Education.

Earlier, the deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Education Dmitry Glushko said that students entering universities will need to choose two USE exams based on the university they are enrolling in.
