China News Service, May 13 (BBC) reported that on the 12th local time, a Spanish nursing home announced that a 113-year-old man in the hospital had successfully recovered after being infected with the new crown virus. The old man named Maria Branyas is considered the longest-lived woman in Spain.

  According to Agence France-Presse's report from the Catalonia local TV station TV3, Branhas was diagnosed with the new coronavirus and isolated in his room for several weeks. During this time, only one employee wearing protective clothing was allowed to go in and check her condition.

  In the video released by the TV station, Branhas can be heard calling the apartment staff "very friendly and very attentive."

  When an employee asked her the secret of longevity, Branius simply replied that she was lucky to have a "healthy body".

  "She survived the illness and everything is fine," a spokesperson for the nursing home told AFP, adding that Branhas showed only mild symptoms.

  The spokesman said: "She feels good now, she did a test last week and the result was negative."

  Reported that Branius was born in 1907, she experienced the 1918 influenza pandemic that swept the world. Agence France-Presse reported that in recent years, the Spanish media has published several articles about Branías, and she is considered to be the person with the longest life in Spain.
