On Tuesday, Nyköping Municipality issued figures showing how mortality increased sharply in April and parts of March this year compared to the same period in other years.
According to Statistics Sweden, the average for the same period over the past five years has been 47 dead.
And in the elderly, you also see an increase. 32 people living in old-age homes in Nyköping died in April. This is ten more than last April.
