The General Command of Sharjah Police has announced the opening of driving training institutes to provide education, training, testing and obtaining driving licenses services immediately after the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday, in accordance with the precautionary controls and procedures in place in the country, to reduce the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

Lt. Col. Majed Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, Sharjah Police, stated that this step comes according to the directives of His Excellency Lua Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander in Chief of Sharjah Police, and within the leadership’s endeavor to provide distinguished services to customers, and work to provide an opportunity to obtain services easily and conveniently. Pointing out that the drivers examination section will start receiving customers after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, at a rate not exceeding 30% of the department's capacity.

Lt. Col. Majed Al-Nuaimi stressed that the Sharjah Police General Command places the safety of customers and members of society at the top of its priorities, and has set some requirements for prevention for customers wishing to obtain a driver’s license, including their subjection to sterilization and thermal monitoring devices available in the centers, and the use of special protection methods such as sterilizing hands periodically, and wearing Gags, gloves, and spacing are far enough inside the waiting hall and places to pay fees, in the interest of their health and safety.

Lt. Col. Al-Naimi urged all auditors to adhere to the preventive measures taken to ensure their protection and the protection of employees, which will positively reflect on the health and safety of society.
