“From May 13, the following operations will be available to customers of the bank with cards that expired between March 2020 and the present: cash withdrawal from Sberbank ATMs, payment for purchases using a chip, and entering a PIN code (if there is a technical ability to trade point) and replenishment of cards at Sberbank ATMs, ”the press release says.

In addition, customers will be able to activate reissued debit cards in the Sberbank Online mobile application, after which all operations on them will become available, and the card with an expired validity will not work.

Sberbank also increased the shelf life of reissued cards at offices up to four months.

“We decided to extend the validity of the cards for customers who did not use the digital activation service of the reissued cards ... It is important for us that all categories of customers are as comfortable as possible to use the card without having to visit the bank’s offices,” said the managing director of the Borrow and Save Division »Sberbank Igor Kovalev.
