He noted that for admission to universities will need the exam. According to Kravtsov, as a rule, graduates in addition to the Russian language take no more than two exams. 

“At the same time, they have the right to choose the number of exams that they will need for admission,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The Minister clarified that universities independently determine the number of exams for a particular specialty.

Kravtsov also explained that the words of his deputy Dmitry Glushko about the need to hand over two subjects at the exam were misinterpreted.

Earlier, Glushko said that students entering universities will need to choose two USE exams, depending on the university in which they enter.

Later, the Ministry of Education and Science stated that the department did not consider reducing the number of exam items to two.
