“On the day of her 100th birthday, Pelageya Mikhailovna Poyarkova was discharged from the Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the FMBA of Russia, reprofiled to receive patients with a new coronavirus infection,” the Federal Biomedical Agency said in a statement.

It is noted that Poyarkova was undergoing routine treatment in a hospital, where her roommate turned out to be with a positive coronavirus test.

Poyarkova was admitted to the FMBA center with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 and severe symptoms. She underwent conservative complex therapy.
