Crimean Armed Forces resumes investigation of Nazi atrocities on the peninsula

“The court gave permission to cancel the decision of the senior investigator of the KGB at the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR in the Crimean region, Colonel Bashmakov,” RIA Novosti quoted the court as saying.

The decision was submitted to the court on April 30, the hearing was held behind closed doors.

The criminal case of the mass extermination of Crimean residents by the Nazis was instituted in 1969.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia told how they are conducting cases of crimes committed during the Great Patriotic War.
