Spring gets a major setback when it pulls in low pressure, already during Tuesday. However, the rainfall initially comes in the form of rain.
- But during the night the air gets cooler and it gets wet snow or snow, so it will probably be white on the ground on Wednesday morning - in large parts of Uppsala county. The exception is the coast where it continues to rain, says Diana Bajic.
SMHI has issued a Class 1 warning for the snowfall. It can get up to five inches of snow during the night.
Can it be slippery on the roads?
- No, I don't think we need to worry about that - the road surfaces are so heated now. And even if there is snow on the ground, it will thaw away quickly.
And when can we hope for warmer weather again?
- The forecast is very uncertain right now, but maybe in the middle of next week. We can only hope, says Diana Bajic, and suddenly cries out as she looks out of her own window.
