The Saudi authorities imposed a comprehensive curfew on Bish governorate in the Jazan region (southwest of the Kingdom) and prevented entry into or exit from it, as of today, Tuesday.

A source in the Saudi Ministry of Interior informed the official news agency (SPA), that it was decided to impose a curfew 24 hours a day in the province of Baysh in the Jazan region and prevent entry or exit from it, as of today, Tuesday, until further notice.

The source stated that this measure comes "within the framework of the efforts made by the Kingdom to confront the Corona virus pandemic, and in implementation of the recommendations of the competent health authorities to raise the degree of precautionary measures and preventive measures, to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents."

The same source pointed out that within the scope of the residential neighborhood in which they reside, during the period from nine in the morning until five in the afternoon every day, residents will be allowed to leave their homes to meet only the necessary needs, such as health care and catering.

Saudi Arabia recorded more than 41 thousand cases of corona and 255 deaths.
