Ryanair announced via a press release on Tuesday that it plans to resume 40 percent of traffic from July 1. This means that flights from Skavsta Airport to northern Italy can be booked again. These flights have been halted since March 13 due to the ongoing corona pandemic.

But the aircraft will depart on condition that the aircraft has been washed internally with disinfectant, that both crew and passengers wear mouth guards and that they keep a distance in the cabin if possible. Passengers should also be temperature tested and distance rules applicable at the terminals.

The plan is conditional on lifting the authorities' restrictions on flights within the EU, Ryanair writes in the press release.

It is the only airline Wizz Air flying from Skavsta right now. Otherwise, the airport is closed.
