The Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, decided to make some minor amendments to the partial mitigation protocols on movement restrictions in the emirate from today, in light of the continuous review of preventive measures in the Emirate of Dubai to confront the Covid virus-19 And, in order to ensure the comfort of society without prejudice to the safety and health of any of its members.

The modifications, while maintaining all the declared preventive measures and measures, include shopping malls in Dubai and the way their stores operate in terms of allowing the return or exchange of goods, as well as the use of fitting rooms according to controls and conditions that guarantee the safety of shoppers.  

The amendments also include opening public parks to the public with specific preventive requirements, and not allowing any gatherings of more than 5 individuals in them, in addition to allowing hotels to re-open their private beaches only to inmates, according to strict preventive requirements, the most important of which is the spatial separation between people.

With regard to public transportation, tram trips, marine means of transportation including Dubai Ferry, water taxi, traditional and air-conditioned abras, and rental vehicles with a joint transportation system will be resumed according to the times set by the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai.   

In addition, sports and leisure activities will be permitted only in open spaces with a maximum of five people, including cycling and water sports of all kinds, and skydiving, while preserving all precautionary measures.  

The Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai stressed the need to continue to follow and apply all precautionary measures and preventive measures announced by the various stakeholders, whether local or federal, and that everyone must follow and implement them accurately at all times in order to enhance the efforts to prevent and address the Corona virus and reduce From its spread to the elimination of it.
