According to Wang Dengfeng, as of May 11, the total number of students who have resumed classes at the beginning of the school is 107.792 million, exceeding 100 million, accounting for 39% of the total number of students, close to 40%. The number of students who have returned to high school in high schools is 21.615 million, which is the start of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Corps; the vocational school has returned to 3.27 million, including 24 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps; 31.48 million have been returned to school, including 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) plus Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps; elementary schools have returned to 43.844 million, including 21 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps; kindergarten has 8 provinces (District, city) opened the park, 4.68 million children returned to the park. Putting it all together, 107 million students have returned to school.
In response to the epidemic situation in the education system, Wang Dengfeng introduced that there are currently 1 confirmed case of teachers and students in the education system across the country, and there are 14 asymptomatic infections currently under medical observation. There is one confirmed case, which is a related case imported from outside Heilongjiang Province. The education system has 43 cases imported from abroad, and all have been cured and discharged.
At present, among the 278 million students in the entire education system plus 17 million faculty and staff, there is one confirmed case, and 13 asymptomatic patients are under observation.
