The message that ambulance nurses with intensive care skills should be moved to IVA in Karlstad this summer has aroused strong feelings in Arvika. This involves a total of seven people, two of whom responded by resigning.

"A question of justice"

For Erik Boson, who has worked for more than 16 years as an intensive care nurse, it is primarily about salary. He lost SEK 5,700 in salary when he switched service from IVA to the ambulance last year, but in a forced move to IVA he receives no increase or extra compensation.

He filed his resignation application last week, saying it is an important justice issue. In addition, he does not think that health care is in such a crisis situation that such a compulsory relocation is justified.

Last word not said

Christer Lagerberg, acting chief operating officer for ambulance healthcare in the region, thinks the decision is premature and in the clip he gives his picture of the situation.
