A 26-year-old man was arrested on the night of Sunday to Monday near Marguerittes, near Nîmes in the Gard, during a roadside check. He was driving without a driver's license. The gendarmes discovered that he was under investigation after a traffic tragedy.

On November 5, 2017, he had an accident while driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs, without insurance, without baby seat, without technical control. Expertise has shown that he was traveling at excessive speed.

The two deceased children were not tied

His 24-year-old partner had died, as well as two children aged 6 and 18 months. None of them were attached. A fourth passenger died of his injuries at the CHU de Nîmes two days later.
