Guest of the morning of Europe 1 Monday May 11, Alexandra Dublanche, vice-president of the Île-de-France region in charge of economic development and attractiveness, returned to the first morning in post-containment transport. She indicates that overall, the morning went well and salutes "the civility of the people of Ile-de-France".

INTERVIEW

The deconfinement of all risks. While the French can circulate since Monday morning without derogatory certificate for the first time in fifty days, all eyes have turned to the Île-de-France region, where the metros, Buses and RERs will gradually resume. At the microphone of Europe 1, Alexandra Dublanche, vice-president of the region, considered that the morning "had gone rather well".

"The wearing of the mask was generally respected"

"I myself was in my station in Sartrouville to distribute masks," she says. "There were a little more people than the previous weeks but it was still very reasonable, and the wearing of the mask was generally respected," continues Alexandra Dublanche. However, on social networks, images of line 13 of the metro, widely used by Ile-de-France residents, provoked strong reactions, physical distance was not respected at all and the trains were crowded.

RER B, RER D, line 13, bus ... the first images show transport where respecting physical distance is impossible.

Except on line 13, "social distancing is respected"

"There was a small incident last night due to rain infiltration, which caused the first metro to be delayed by 40 minutes," explains Alexandra Dublanche. "But overall, social distancing is respected and I salute the civic-mindedness and self-discipline of Ile-de-France residents".

The same is true for Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, Secretary of State for Transport, who assured Monday morning that the recovery day is going "correctly", reports AFP. He remained cautious, however: "we will have more information during the day," he said.

A mask for each Navigo subscriber

Overall, "it's really going well", summarizes the vice-president of the Île-de-France region, who indicates that it is possible for all Navigo subscribers to retrieve a mask in stations by presenting their pass at the counter. A measure reserved for subscribers, she said, while the region has distributed several hundred thousand masks in recent days.

Jean-Baptiste Djebbari was also delighted to note that "almost 100% of people wear masks" in public transport "." It is an undeniable reason to be satisfied to see that the wearing of the mask is well respected ", said the secretary of state, who said that the Monday morning mask distributions on Ile-de-France public transport took place "in good conditions".
