“What happens today when the truth is also told through social networks about the Second World War, about the role of the Soviet Union, including Ukraine, in the fight against the Nazis - this is natural neither Poroshenko nor his entourage. They see that the vector of civil society today is changing towards establishing good-neighborly relations with Russia, ”said Vodolatsky.

According to the deputy, such a proposal by the ex-president is connected with the growing discontent among citizens of Ukraine, therefore, in order to continue to "zombify" them, it is necessary to "cut off the truth."

“Pyotr Alekseevich is more worried for himself than for Ukraine and its people. This and (violation. - RT ) freedom of speech, and the infringement of the rights of the Russian-speaking population, which he preached, are all links in one chain, ”the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, Poroshenko demanded Zelensky to extend sanctions against Russian social networks and television channels.

According to him, efforts should be directed to “informational counteraction of hybrid aggression”.

In the spring of 2017, the then president of Ukraine Poroshenko approved the NSDC decision on sanctions against individuals and legal entities from Russia, including VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, as well as Yandex and Mail.ru Internet resources.
