During the night of Sunday to Monday, around 3 a.m., Bac police were warned of the presence of several people on the premises of the Val Trans company, in Valenton (Val-de-Marne). The latter, dressed in black, seem to be interested in vehicles stored on site. The agents learn that people regularly enter the site, get into the new cars there and move them, causing damage to them. Upon arrival, they did find that several vehicles had been driven on the railway tracks.

The suspects fled after being spotted by a dog handler. A little later, while the rain is still falling, the police notice a Citroën Berlingo, in which there is a man and a woman, which runs along the walls of the company at low speed. The vehicle passes in front of that of the officials, whom its passengers seem to identify as police officers. The driver panics and accelerates. The Bac agents then decide to check the people on board. They discover the presence of five individuals in the back of the van, soaked from head to toe, their shoes full of mud.

Black gloves and hoods

The seven suspects, born between 1999 and 2002, are arrested. They were placed in police custody at the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges police station for attempted aggravated theft and damage to private property. In the Citroën Berlingo, the police discovered black gloves and hoods, as well as a mobile phone.
