He explained, to «Emirates Today», that he did not care about the preventive measures against the Corona virus, because he is little out of the house, and does not mix with anyone, and maintains social divergence, except that his daily passion for Karak tea and leaving the house to buy and smoke cigarettes, the reason of his infection with the virus , As a result of direct contact with tea vendors in cafeterias without wearing masks and gloves.

He continued: «I thought that the social spacing was sufficient to prevent the virus, without wearing masks and gloves, which I considered unnecessary», adding: «On the 30th of last March, I had a cough and I felt suffocated at night due to its severity, where I went to the hospital and informed them of my condition, so it was done Conducting a medical smear, and after several days the doctors asked me to visit them in the hospital, and the result appeared positive, and they took the necessary medical measures, and they asked me to stay in the home stone for 14 days, and to increase the intake of vitamins, fluids and fresh juices ».

He pointed out that once he was diagnosed with Corona, a medical smear was conducted for his family members, to ensure that they were not infected, as all the results of the examination appeared negative.

He added that his mother took good care of him, prepared his room to stay in it, and remotely supplied him with fresh juices and healthy meals, adding that he stopped smoking during the injury, in order to avoid deteriorating his health.

Al-Marri continued, “After 14 days in quarantine, the doctors contacted me and asked me to see the hospital, where I was booked for four days for further medical exams, including a daily medical swab, planning for the heart and chest x-rays, and they gave me hydrochloroquine as a virus treatment.”

He continued: "After four days of taking the treatment, a medical swab was taken and the result appeared negative, and they asked me to go home and stick to the home quarantine again for 14 days, to prevent the virus and not pass the infection on to others."

He stated that after spending the second quarantine period, he went to the National Survey Center, where the result of the survey appeared negative during the first days of Ramadan.

He said that he did not think for a moment that he would be infected with "corona", because he did not like going out and mixing with others, calling on citizens and residents not to underestimate the preventive measures, laws set by the state, and the obligation to wear masks and gloves to avoid being infected with the Corona virus.
