What is happening to the overseas Chinese in all countries since the new pneumonia epidemic spreads all over the world? China Overseas Chinese Network (ID: qiaowangzhongguo) specially launched a series of "Overseas Stays" series of manuscripts, telling the story of the "war epidemic" left by overseas Chinese. In this issue, Guangxi's expatriate teacher Zhang Junlan talks about his left-behind life in Cambodia.

Our expatriate teachers live together at Duanhua School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is inevitable that there will be bumps in life together, but this home life for more than a month has been very warm.

We live in three floors, each floor has seven rooms, each room for two people, sharing two large toilets and two small bathrooms. Although it is a public bathroom, there is no special cleaning staff, but everyone pays great attention to hygiene, without littering and environmental destruction.

Every day in the hallway of the dormitory, we can see a familiar figure mopping the floor. She is Teacher Lan Yanfei. Teacher Lan has a good habit of running for an hour in the aisle beside the stairs after dinner every day. Before exercising, she would mop the corridors, aisles, and the bathroom floor clean, every day.

We will often hear a familiar voice in our corridor: "Throw garbage". Upon hearing this voice, everyone would quickly pick up the trash from the room and hand it away to the shouter. Everyone on the same floor is a volunteer. Anyone who goes out will help take away the garbage. This is our collective home.

Life is inseparable from wood, oil, salt, and sometimes go out to buy daily necessities, everyone will help each other bring some urgently needed items.

Before going out, we will carry out full body protection, wear a mask, and buy things to sterilize the whole body. Every move is not only for our own safety considerations, but also for everyone to have a safe, secure, healthy and comfortable living place.

Everyone lives together as a family, and anyone who has difficulties will have enthusiastic compatriots to help. I borrowed Teacher Lan ’s pot, and she used it for Teacher Bin ’s kitchen knife. The curtains were disconnected, and the good sister took the initiative to help the sewing; there was no phone bill for the phone, and the buddy helped recharge ...

Far from home, everyone will miss everything in their hometown, and their homesickness will often be pinned on the food in their hometown: hometown camellia made by teacher Liang Chunhong; jelly made by Pei Xiaofang; egg pancakes made by teacher Bin Jin; milky incense made by teacher Yiyan Ban Pudding; seafood fish soup made by Mr. Deng Liqin; pumpkin bread made by Mr. He Geying and Mr. Yang Yan ...

The foods shared are sweet and loving, the taste of hometown haunts us, and we meet in a foreign country, and we live together in harmony.

While staying in Cambodia, we do n’t forget to improve ourselves. Some read books and learn English; some watch videos to learn fashion design; some insist on practicing dance and yoga; some insist on running every day ...

"A group of people, one road, insist on going all the way ..." The song said as if we were a warm family under the epidemic.
