- In the midst of all this, there are people in various occupational categories who consciously risk their lives for the fight against covid-19. I think first and foremost about everyone who works in healthcare. To pay tribute to these amazing people, I will continue to raise the flag every Saturday and I urge you all - who have the opportunity - to do the same, says Jan Sundstedt.
A sea of Swedish flags- The concern among us is evident. I myself belong to the so-called risk group with rye. We all fight in different ways. We choose to live in quarantine. Social distancing also makes life feel sad at times, he says.
So in the future when the medical staff who work at the weekend look out over Linköping, then maybe they see a sea of Swedish flags. Hopefully a small, small glimmer of light in this unusual everyday life.
