“Today, the president announced that from May 12, the single day off in Russia is ending. We have come to the next stage - the gradual relaxation of the restrictions regime. But in the Moscow Region, restrictions on the work of the economy will be extended until next Monday, ”he wrote on Instagram.

He noted that before starting to remove restrictions, it is necessary to analyze three indicators.

Firstly, the infection rate. At the first stage, the coefficient should not exceed 1. In the Moscow Region, it currently stands at 1.2.

Secondly, 38.5% of the bed capacity is still available in the Moscow Region, although at least 50% of free beds are needed to move to the new stage.

The third indicator is the number of tests performed on COVID-19. It should be at least 70 per 100 thousand people. In the Moscow region at the moment, 90 per 100 thousand.

“We see that of the three indicators, there are two risks. Therefore, now open the economy, alas, life-threatening. We took a break until May 18 in order to see the positive dynamics, to carefully prepare for the opening of enterprises ... and thereby protect people, ”he added.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that a single period of non-working days for the whole country will end on May 12.
