The Libyan Parliament, held in the capital, Tripoli, announced that it is in a solution of any dialogue with international sponsorship unless preceded by a clear and strict stance towards the repeated attacks on "innocent civilians who are subjected to indiscriminate bombing on a daily basis."

In a statement, the Libyan Parliament called on the UN Security Council to hold an emergency session and assume its responsibilities to protect civilians in Libya under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, and to take strict decisions to protect civilians.

The council said that the countries that support what he described as "war criminal" Khalifa Haftar, on top of what he called "the UAE state", do not care about the fallen victims of children, women and elderly people, nor the size of destruction and ruin.

For his part, Parliament Speaker Hammouda Siala said that any call for dialogue before the end of the military operations will not find listening ears, and that he will not be accepted as a political partner in the next stage and the political future in general.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Siala described the international community as silent about the crimes of Haftar's forces, "as a partner in those crimes, just like the countries of aggression."

Siala demanded, Gutrich, to pass a resolution against the perpetrators of the bombing of residential neighborhoods, killing and punishing civilians, excluding them from everything that affects the fate of the country, and punishing and excluding supporters from any dialogue regarding the Libyan situation.

Ongoing battles
at the field level, the Libyan government of Al-Wefaq government said that 25 armed fighters of Haftar forces were killed and wounded during a heavy artillery and mortar attack that targeted four observatories in the project axis south of the capital Tripoli and in the Al-Wattia base in the southwest of the country.

The response came from the al-Wefaq government forces, after a woman was killed and four others from the same family were wounded after Haftar's forces targeted their house south of Tripoli.

A military source in the forces of the Libyan National Accord government confirmed that the reconciliation forces exchanged with Haftar forces a bombardment with heavy artillery and mortar shells at the Salah al-Din axes and the plateau project south of the capital, Tripoli.

The source added that Al-Wefaq forces targeted the Yarmouk camp and its surroundings, south of Tripoli, with heavy artillery, where Haftar's forces are stationed.

The source indicated that Al-Wefaq forces targeting advanced observatories of Haftar forces in the Salah al-Din axis, respond immediately to the sources of the fire that target residential neighborhoods in the center of Tripoli.

It is noteworthy that, since April 4, 2019, Haftar's forces have continued their offensive to control the capital, Tripoli, the headquarters of the internationally recognized government of Al-Wefaq.
