The Bur Dubai Police Station was able to arrest six Asians who stored various goods in two rooms inside a 3.5-ton labor housing, with the aim of selling them in informal markets out of the sight of censorship, and in violation of high orders related to street vendors and informal markets.
Brigadier Dr. Adel Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Jebel Ali Police Station, said that the arrest of the Asians came after the center received reliable source information stating that there are three vehicles loaded with a variety of goods such as gifts, food products and clothes, in addition to the products of smoking materials and bracelet, in order to sell them in random markets in a way In violation of the laws and regulations in force in the Emirate of Dubai.
Brigadier Al-Suwaidi indicated that the Jebel Ali Police Station immediately formed a working group to control Asians and confiscate the goods before selling them in the jurisdiction, in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality.
He added that the work team moved to the place of communication, where they seized vehicles that were loaded with various types of products, and seized their three drivers, before disposing of them in random markets and distributing them to street vendors.
Brigadier Al-Suwaidi pointed out that the drivers, after their seizure, led the work team to the cargo storage places, which was two rooms inside a workers ’residence in a contracting company, where three other people who were planning to unload the two rooms of goods to be transported to another place were arrested.
The gang members admitted that they store the goods illegally, without observing any safety requirements for the purpose of selling them in informal, uncivilized markets.
The Swedish Brigadier called on members of the public not to buy products that are sold in random markets, because they are not subject to control, and do not adhere to the health requirements approved by the competent authorities, stressing the keenness of the Dubai Police General Command to monitor and control everyone who violates laws and regulations in this regard.
