The UAE’s ambassador to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and the non-resident ambassador to Mali, Youssef Saif Al Ali, said: “Mali is an important partner for the UAE in the efforts to strengthen the fight against (COFED-19) throughout Africa, and it will provide medical assistance provided by the state to Mali Today the protection for front-line workers. "
He added, "The UAE stands with Mali at this difficult moment and is confident that the world is able to overcome this crisis through multilateral cooperation and concerted efforts to combat the emerging Corona virus."
The UAE has provided more than 473 tons of aid to more than 43 countries, of which about 473,000 medical workers have benefited.
