More than 18 million masks have already been distributed in Ile-de-France since the start of the coronavirus crisis, said Sunday its president Valérie Pécresse on the eve of a deconfinement which represents "an immense challenge" in this region particularly dense.

"We are not immune to reconfiguration if the rules are not respected. We will have to show civility and self-discipline again for weeks. The return to normal is not for tomorrow ", warned the president of the region (ex-LR) on Europe 1 / Les Echos / Cnews.

The employer certificate instituted from Monday in public transport in Ile-de-France will be checked between 6.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m., and in the evening between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. There will be "a tolerance Monday and Tuesday" for those who will not have one, added the one who also chairs Ile-de-France mobilities.

The refusal to wear a mandatory mask will however be verbalized on Monday, she said, calling on Ile-de-France residents to continue teleworking as much as possible and to stagger their hours of arrival at work.

"We have already distributed more than 1.6 million masks in 200 stations. Tomorrow, we will be in 400 stations to distribute more than 2 million masks," she said.

Since the beginning of the crisis, the Ile-de-France region has distributed more than 18 million masks "to the ARS, for hospitals, nursing homes, nursing staff, the sick, town halls, departments, associations humanitarian workers and for the past few weeks those who continue to operate the country on a daily basis, "she said.

The region has also supported the establishment of temporary cycle routes which could be adjusted if they created too many traffic jams, because "nothing would be worse than a monster traffic jam".

The fight against mass unemployment will be a priority, she said, more than the incentive to work more, demanded by some on the right.

Asked about the closure of the Renault-Sandouville factory obtained by the CGT, she lambasted "political forces in the country who want to plant the recovery", quoting "the friends of Mr. Mélenchon", the leader of LFI.

"We cannot play on the fears of the French. Blocking is playing with fire," she insisted, accusing, in response to a question about "yellow vests", those who "with the networks of rebellious France seek to destabilize French society and institutions. "
