He added that the UAE government has made tremendous efforts to protect members of society from the Corona virus, and to provide treatment and care for everyone who is infected with this virus.
Al-Alawi talked about his recovery journey from the new Corona virus, after receiving medical care at the Mafraq Hospital, which is affiliated with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company «SEHA», thanking the medical, nursing and administrative team at the hospital, who gave him great care and attention, and gave him the necessary treatment even from God He recovered and left the hospital.
He explained that he initially felt pain in the muscles of the legs, hands and back, with a slight cold, and he thought that the matter was normal, especially because he suffers from asthma and diabetes, and I think that what he feels is the result of his illness, so he went to the hospital to check on himself and take the necessary treatment for asthma, and after performing the tests The necessary medical team assured him that his affairs were fine and there was no cause for concern, and they suggested that he perform a corona examination for further assurance, so he agreed immediately, and a smear was taken from him to be informed of the result by text message as usual.
Al-Alawi indicated that he returned to his home and retired in a special room as a precaution, and in the meantime he began to feel more pain in his body, shortness of breath, and day after day he was breathing with difficulty, so he decided to review the clinic near his house, where the necessary checks were made and suggested The doctor must see the hospital. On the same evening, he received a call from the competent health authorities, informing him that the results of his examination to detect the Corona virus are positive, and that he was infected with the virus, and they suggested that he come to take him to the hospital, but he took the initiative to go to Al Mafraq Hospital, where he found all the care and attention of the medical and administrative team .
He said that he spent a week in the hospital during which he underwent many tests, provided him with medications and health care, and began to improve on the second day of his admission as a result of the distinguished care and treatment he was given, as his breathing began to improve little by little and the cough and phlegm began to ease until he recovered completely after a week of Intensive treatment, and he left the hospital back to his home, where he adhered to the home quarantine for two weeks, according to health authorities instructions.
He added that the medical and administrative staff in the hospital is following up his case over the phone to check, as they told him that if he feels any health symptom or any symptoms, he will contact them immediately to provide medical advice and intervene when necessary.
He said that many people with chronic diseases think that just having the virus is sufficient to eradicate them, but this is not true, adding that his personal experience with the disease confirms this.
He pointed out that he is still following the precautionary procedures, and he adheres to the instructions and directives issued by the competent authorities to put masks and wear gloves, in order to ensure his safety and the safety of others.
Al-Alawi took the initiative to go to the hospital as soon as the positive Corona test result appeared.
