A photoproject called “Generals of Victory. Spring of 1945 ”is placed in a special section of the website of the defense department.
For example, on footage are the commander of the 4th Air Army, Konstantin Vershinin, in Hitler’s defeated office, as well as the commander of the 1st Ukrainian Front’s troops, Marshal Ivan Konev in the Königstein Castle above Elba.
In February, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a photo documentary project entitled “Commanders of the Victory: Liberators of Europe”.
