The Sharjah Charity Association called on the people of charity and the owners of white hands who wish to participate in helping those affected and affected by the Al Nahda Tower fire to provide their support to enable them to play their full role, towards the categories deserving of those affected by the residential tower fire.

The Executive Director of the Sharjah Charity Association, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, confirmed that, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and believing in its humanitarian role in providing relief to the affected community members, the association has sheltered the residents of the “APCO” tower in Al Nahda, Which was subjected to burning and resulted in a large number of its residents being exposed to the loss of their housing and their belongings, in order to provide them with stability and psychological tranquility.

He pointed out that the association has provided them with full health care by providing free checks to the affected people and their families to ensure their safety, pointing out that in light of the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, coordination has been made with a number of hotels to provide overnight rooms, safe housing and psychological stability for families affected by the action. The fire, which broke out in one of the residential towers in Al Nahda.

Bin Khadim added that the association’s efforts were not only limited to housing families, but the aid department is doing its best to conduct field studies to find out the volume of other assistance needed by the affected families, as field research teams went to the families ’residence in the hotels that were provided, To know their situation and study it closely, and determine the size and type of assistance needed for them.

He continued: "We aim through the assistance provided, not to leave those in need in the homes of humanity, but to extend to him the help and support that spreads happiness in his conscience."

In support of the association's efforts, the owner of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, Dr. Hassan Al Marzouqi, placed 160 residential rooms from the hotel rooms at the disposal of the association, to accommodate the affected families, until their conditions are modified.
