The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the lifting of the precautionary measures for six districts in Medina, as of yesterday.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted an official source in the Ministry of Interior as saying that, in light of the health authorities ’recommendations, it has been decided to lift the precautionary measures previously announced in the neighborhoods of Al-Sherbat, Bani Zafar, Qurban, Friday, part of the housing, and the building of Khudrah in Madinah. As of yesterday. The source added that it was decided to allow the residents to roam, to meet their needs, from nine in the morning until five in the evening, as well as the continuation of the work of the excluded activities and the implementation of preventive health precautions previously announced.

He pointed out that «the Ministry of Interior declaring this to confirm that these measures have been taken within the framework of the Kingdom’s efforts to preserve public health by preventing the spread of the Corona virus.

The source urged everyone to feel their individual responsibilities by adhering to and abiding by the isolation procedures.

In Amman, Jordan launched a new application that allows reporting of any gatherings that violate the measures to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, or breach of the curfew, or of persons suspected of being infected with the emerging coronavirus.

The free application was called "C-radar" (Corona Radar), and users can download it for free on Android devices via "Google Play", provided that it is available on the "Apple" group, the company that manufactures the iPhone phones within days.

The application is the second way that the authorities have launched after the hotline 193 to report suspected cases.

The Ministry of Health said in a video posted on its page on the social networking site «Facebook», and explains the use of the new application, that «the goal is to report any gatherings of people or suspected of infection with the Corona virus while locating the gatherings or infections».

She explained that, according to the application, the type of gathering, the number of persons or shops violated, or the presence of a curfew is broken, the site is specified, and the reporting is sent. She added that the person reporting should record his triple name, phone number, notes, and send the report. According to the ministry, "the concerned authorities will deal with this communication."

The Jordanian Minister of State for Information Affairs, Amjad Al-Adayleh, called during a press briefing for citizens to "report any gatherings, or suspect cases of injury or contact (...) as a matter of social and national responsibility." Al-Adayleh explained that “the crisis cell at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management has developed this electronic application for reporting gatherings of all kinds, or suspects of injuries, with the ability to determine the location accurately to enable the concerned agencies to deal with it.”

The lifting of the isolation included the neighborhoods of Sharbat, Bani Zafar, Qurban, and Friday, part of the housing, and Bani Khudra.
