“The fire occurred in one of the premises of the Spasokukotsky City Clinical Hospital, in a 6-story building on the ground floor. A fire alarm went off, firefighters and medical services immediately arrived. Within 30 minutes, all patients were evacuated - 295 people, the fire was completely eliminated, ”the Moscow operations headquarters quoted Rakova as saying.
She noted that one patient died, there were no other victims.
“All patients are placed in other hospital buildings, partially transferred to other hospitals,” Rakova added.
Earlier, a fire occurred on the ground floor of the six-story medical building at City Clinical Hospital No. 50 on Vuchetich Street, and one dead was reported.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin commented on what happened.
