At the end of January, there was an outbreak of new coronary pneumonia in China. At that time, South Korea was not too serious. There were only a few confirmed cases, but I still thought it was necessary to prevent it in advance, so I hoarded my masks early. At that time, the city of Datian where I lived had no confirmed cases, so people still lived as usual.

Since I did not return home during the Spring Festival, I made dumplings with other Chinese friends who stayed in South Korea during the New Year and watched the Spring Festival Gala while eating dumplings. At this time, our lives were not affected at all. But on January 29th, I went to the convenience store again to buy masks, and found that some of the convenience store masks were sold out, and the masks of the pharmacy also increased in price. On January 31, the number of patients with new coronary pneumonia in Korea increased to 11 cases, and I was a little flustered.

However, since Daejeon has no cases, I feel that people here do not take it for granted. I work in a convenience store, and there are still a lot of guests coming every Saturday night. A few days later, the number of confirmed cases of new pneumonia in South Korea increased rapidly. At that time, I originally planned to eat hot pot with my friends, but I was afraid of being infected. In the end, I decided to stay at home.

The outbreak of the Korean epidemic occurred after February 17, when Daegu suddenly had a large number of new cases of coronary artery pneumonia, and you can feel that Koreans have become nervous. So I also decided to buy some vegetables and fast food online to reduce my trips. However, due to the state of emergency across the country, the rice on the online shopping software coupang was out of stock for a time, and it was difficult to buy masks.

A few days later, Datian also had a case, and it was still near my house. After thinking about it, Zuo Siyou decided to quit her job at a convenience store and stay at home with peace of mind.

Because Korean masks are difficult to buy, the government has introduced a "five-part system" for citizens to buy masks. However, because none of our international students have joined the National Health Insurance of South Korea, they are not qualified to buy masks. This has become a difficult thing for us.

Later, Fenhan launched a lottery to send masks, and the Chinese Embassy also helped to present masks to our Chinese in South Korea. In early April, I received a mask jointly presented by the embassy and Fenhan.com, which can really be said to be a gift in the snow, so that I am alone in Korea and I feel the warmth from the motherland.
