The municipality writes on its website that after, among other things, inquiries from the public and the media, the decision has been made to now inform about the number of infected persons at the municipality's elderly homes.
During Friday, there was no accommodation with an infected infection. This makes Sävsjö municipality one of the few in Jönköping County that managed to avoid spreading in housing for the elderly. In the past, the County Administrative Board has reported that the infection is found in elderly homes in ten of the county's thirteen municipalities.
However, according to the municipality of Sävsjö, a person in a housing for the elderly has been previously infected. But the situation right now is that there is no one and no one has died as a result of the virus.
