  According to the Kagoshima Regional Meteorological Observatory, Sakurajima's last eruption of more than 4,000 meters of smoke was on November 8, 2019. At present, the county has not received any reports of disasters.

  According to reports, due to the impact of volcanic ash settlement caused by volcanic eruptions, six takeoff and landing flights at Kagoshima Airport in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture were forced to be cancelled.

  The local meteorological station said that there is a possibility of continued eruptions afterwards, calling on the local people to be vigilant.
