May 09, 2020 A roar, sparks and smoke were reported shortly before 10 p.m. near the construction site of the new Genoa bridge.

According to what was ascertained by the fire brigade and by the technicians of the commissioner structure, the impact between a crane and a high voltage electric cable on the east side of the Polcevera torrent caused them.

The accident, as it turns out, did not cause injuries or further damage but a drop in tension, felt in several districts of the city even very distant from the viaduct.
