Figures released by the government in Slovakia showed that no new cases of the Coruna virus were recorded on Friday, for the first time since March 10.

The central European country of 5.5 million registered fewer injuries and deaths than its neighbors. A total of 1,455 cases and 26 deaths, while 919 have already recovered from the disease.

On Wednesday, the government reopened all stores outside commercial centers, as well as reopened hotels, museums, galleries and open tourist sites and allowed religious ceremonies and weddings with a limited number of invitees, but schools are still closed, and international travel is not permitted.

Returnees from abroad must remain in government-run quarantine centers for 14 days.
