Electric car maker Tesla’s beaker Elon Musk threatened to move Tesla’s headquarters and plant out of the state of California on Saturday because local authorities have stuffed the plant’s restart due to a coronavirus.
- Frankly, this is the last straw. Tesla will now move its headquarters and future programs to Texas / Nevada immediately, ”Musk tweeted on Saturday.
The news agency AFP, among others, reports on the matter.
Tesla has hoped to open the California plant in early May. However, the authorities have prevented this. That plant is the only carmaker in the United States.

Musk justified his desire to open a factory with the company's experience in China. There, the plant was opened as soon as the country’s coronavirus epidemic came under control.

In addition, Musk threatened to sue the Alameda district, where the plant is located, “immediately”. He accused the authorities of being “irrational and detached from reality”.
Musk was in the headlines last week ago when he found on Twitter that Tesla’s stock was overpriced. The company’s share price plunged more than ten percent after the tweet.
Shortly before this, the businessman was told to have shed long snippets of how he considers containment measures taken because of the coronavirus to be “fascist”.
