In order to bite this "hard bone", since the establishment, the medical unit of the joint logistics support unit has sent 670 batches of medical teams to the front line of poverty alleviation. Today, of the 61 poverty-stricken county and county-level hospitals they have targeted to help, 59 have met the service capacity standards, and through technical assistance and counterpart exchanges, they have left a "no-go medical team" for the poor areas.

In May 2019, Wang Tongjian and the expert medical team of the hospital went to Shache County to help. They screened and confirmed 103 cases from 217 local children with suspected congenital heart disease. Today, 45 children with congenital heart disease, including Yu Supu, have undergone surgical treatment and can grow up happily like normal children.
According to statistics, the joint logistics support force has sent 3173 experts to 61 counterpart aid hospitals.

In June 2016, Ma Shiwu went to the station in Gangba County, Tibet to help, this is his second time here. In 2014, when he went to the border guard station in Gamba, his eldest son was only 28 days old. This time, his wife was only four months pregnant with her second child.
During the period of assistance, Ma Shiwu and members of the medical team found that the local Tibetan people had a higher hepatitis B surface antigen carrying rate than the general population in China. To this end, they consulted the medical records of the county people's hospital for the past 5 years, conducted a survey and analysis of the disease spectrum, tailored the hepatitis B prevention and treatment plan, and guided the obstetricians and gynecologists of the county people's hospital to try to cut off the mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B. So far, nearly 100 pregnant women with hepatitis B have benefited from the implementation of the prevention and control plan. Gangba County has also become the earliest region in Tibet to carry out the hepatitis B mother-to-child transmission interruption project.
While carrying out healthy poverty alleviation and treating patients, the medical personnel of the joint logistics support force also strengthened the training of technical personnel, improved the level of medical management, and left advanced medical technology in poor areas.
The 924th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force helped the People's Hospital of Napo County, Guangxi to establish a hemodialysis room through equipment donations, technical guidance, and personnel training to fill the gaps in local technology. Up to now, more than 8,700 people have received hemodialysis treatment in the hospital and its surrounding areas.
After nearly 20 years of continuous support, the Xuanhan County People ’s Hospital of Sichuan Province, supported by the PLA General Hospital, has jumped from a general hospital with an annual outpatient number of about 100,000 to a national top 100 county-level hospital. "B grade" and so on "general hospital evaluation, realized that more than 90% of the people in the county did not get serious illness.
"Poverty alleviation can't be carried out in a poverty-stricken way. Only a lively period of time will not be enough." Since 2017, the joint logistics support force has regularly organized annual assessments of the health and poverty alleviation work, focusing on the training of key personnel, medical technology, and telemedicine docking. In response to the problems found in the inspection, guide the units to formulate rectification plans and come up with corrective measures. At the same time, the main leadership of the Health Service Bureau led the team to conduct in-depth field research in areas where poverty alleviation was difficult, and sent experts to guide the hospitals that failed to meet the standards, sort out the shortcomings and weaknesses one by one, and ensure that the assistance plan was implemented.
