The country suffered three cold air processes, and the northern region suffered heavy losses from low-temperature freezing and snow disasters

Southwest China is heavily affected by strong convective weather, and hail disasters occur intensively

On 21-22, strong convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail occurred in southeastern Yunnan, causing damage to crops and agricultural facilities and direct economic losses of 500 million yuan. Compared with the average of the same period in the past five years, the number of deaths and direct economic losses due to disasters in the country ’s hail disasters in April decreased by 95% and 27%, the lowest values ​​in the same period.

The precipitation in the whole country is less than the same period of normal years, and the floods and geological disasters are relatively light

Earthquake activity is relatively calm

Yunnan's drought partially eased and forest fire situation improved somewhat

  Affected by factors such as low total precipitation in the early stage and uneven spatial and temporal distribution, this year, Yunnan Province has had fewer river water inflows and less reservoir storage. As of mid-April, there were 137 river outages in the province, and 201 reservoirs have dried up.
