Located in Rust, in the southwest of Germany, a few kilometers from the south of Alsace particularly affected by the epidemic of coronavirus, Europa-Park had postponed its spring reopening, supposed to take place on March 28, after its traditional phase winter closing.

A limited number of visitors, tickets purchased online

To "minimize the risk of infection" on site, the number of visitors will be limited and tickets will have to be purchased online, markings will be placed on the ground to maintain distances in the queues and the surfaces will be regularly disinfected, explained the park.

The Mack family, owner of the amusement park, hopes to be able to welcome visitors from countries other than Germany again "as soon as cross-border traffic is restored". The new Rulantica water park, which adjoins Europa-Park, remains closed for the moment.
