On April 16, the Malmö police received a call about a large explosive found in a clothing collection container. The container has been in Staffanstorp and when it was emptied in Malmö, the staff discovered and contacted the police.

- We got a call and when we got there we made further finds in the container. It is a really big seizure of explosives, and it is worrying that there are so many explosives out there in society, says Anders Larsson, investigative leader at the section for serious crimes in Malmö.

Police are currently looking for witnesses who have seen any activity in the area around Sliparevägen in Staffanstorp between April 15 and 16.

Right now there is no deprivation of liberty.

- The work is continuing to try to connect as many people as possible to the event. I do not want to comment if we have any suspects, but given what it looks like in the country and that people are blasting and shooting more here than in the rest of Europe, we are working to clear this up as soon as we can, says Anders Larsson.
