Both SAS and BRA flights have canceled all their departures from Kalmar due to the corona pandemic.

But now the airline Air Leap is planning for a new airline. It will go from Bromma to Ronneby, on to Kalmar and back to Bromma. On June 16, the first tour will go.

The lines will initially be operated with a Saab 340 with space for 33 passengers. Later on, as restrictions eased and travel increased, the plan is for the lines to be flown separately without stopovers and with a larger aircraft model with room for more.

- The fact that Air Leap now offers a daily departure to Bromma gives those who have a travel need an opportunity to easily get to and from Stockholm. It also creates the conditions for a slightly more normal business with us at the airport, ”says Ronny Lindberg, CEO Kalmar Öland Airport, in a press release.
