“Boris Johnson, in turn, expressed gratitude on behalf of the British people in connection with the decisive contribution of the Soviet Union and its armed forces to achieving Victory over a common enemy,” the statement said.
The parties noted that the military community of those years recalls the importance of consolidating efforts to counter modern challenges and threats. One of these threats is the coronavirus pandemic.
