Dubai Municipality is ahead of the world in the future with the project “WestNAiser”, through which it works to convert waste into sustainable clean energy, using artificial intelligence techniques.
The municipality is working on the development of the "WestNAiser" project, which it launched as part of the first stage of the "Dubai 10X" initiative adopted by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and supervised by Dubai Future Foundation.

The project contributes to supporting Dubai's efforts in waste management and developing a new sustainable and environmentally friendly system by relying on modern technology and developing a single and integrated center for collecting and transporting waste, and disposing of central landfills because of their negative environmental, economic and social impacts, in addition to reducing the need for waste transport vehicles significantly Reducing the frequency of its traffic and reducing traffic congestion.

Providing 3.5 million tons of waste annually
Dubai Municipality stated that the project contributes to providing about 3.5 million tons of waste annually, and 7560 square meters of land used as landfills, dispense of 3,850 vehicles to collect waste, and produce 17,500 tons of good ash to produce green concrete, and the project will reduce the daily operating cost of waste management in Dubai by 2.3 million dirhams.
